Programming a real-time web application for a fully automated welding system
Topic
Due to the fast-paced development of programming languages and environments, software has to be continuously adapted to modern technologies. Aixcon is continuously improving its technology for welding systems to always stay up to date.
With regard to current developments, Aixcon focuses on web-based, real-time applications. The aim of this project is to develop a new software concept, based on a MySQL database and a node.js web server that interfaces with a web front end.
The following software stack will be used in this project:
- MySQL
- node.js
- Websockets
- HTML5
- JavaScript
- CSS (with Bootstrap)

Programming an application for actual industrial use, which is directly connected with a real-time controller and hardware.
