The HKS-ThermoProfilScanner detects welding irregularities like porosity, lack of sidwall fusion, asymmetrical weld penetration, insufficient root penetration and torch misalignment.

CrNi - Pipe 20*3 mm

An non-centered torch position leads to an asymmetrical weld penetration.
One sidewall is more fused than the other.

Optically hardly visible, but clearly detectable in the thermal image of the TPS.

The sensor may be optionally integrated into aixcon's multicathode torch.
