Since 15 years aixcon develops and manufactures microwave generators for high-end applications. The aixcon microwave generators Y-2000 and Y-3000 raise the bar of highly dynamic, precise and reproducible microwave technology. A compact design and distinguished technical features enable the deployment of many new applications. A rapid setup and integration into complex systems is facilitated through standardized interfaces.

The high voltage supply and the magnetron heater run with switch mode power supplies and produce only low losses. The water cooling makes the system well suited for deployment in clean room environment. The intelligent control unit of the water cooling also increases the life-time of the magnetron significantly.

Even without measuring the MW-power directly, a high precision is achieved. This is achieved with the help of a new control system which takes the degradation of the magnetron into account.

The pulse mode supports frequencies of up to 20kHz and a pulse power with a factor of 1.5 of the nominal power.

Wafer treatment:
aixcon microwave generators are deployed worldwide in the manufacturing process steps like etching and cleaning of semi-conductors and micro chips.

Glass coating:
aixcon mircowave generators are deployed in the manufacturing process of effect glass with electrostatic or UV triggered darkening, mirroring and infrared filter. Further applications are the manufacturing of cold mirrors for halogen lights.

Automotive Technology:
Highly stressed components in internal combustion engines, like vaults, vault stems, injectors etc. are treated with aixcon's microwave generators.
